When he saw an ad in The Globe and Mail for a five-bedroom farmhouse on 100 acres of oceanfront, he jumped at it and the region became his family\u2019s summer getaway since then. In 2005 Glynn started to buy businesses in the area in an effort to revitalize the coastal community. His company, The Authentic Seacoast, includes a beautifully restored inn, a caf\u00e9 and microbrewery, coffee roasting plant, and a nine-hole golf course. He\u2019s created 40 jobs and hopes to provide for 30 more in the next five years. He believes sustainable community economic development can be achieved by blending quality tourism experiences and other small businesses through a coordinated  development strategy.
